BRIEF DISCRIPTION

 

Born in Brunei Darussalam to a Bruneian father and a half Indonesian mother, he started painting since his childhood with full support from his parents in pursuing his passion in Art. He joined competitions during his early school years and grew more serious in Art with the guidance of his high school Art teachers. In 2003 he completed his Bachelor of Arts (Art) and graduated from the School of Art, Curtin University of Technology in Perth Western Australia.

As an artist he is interested in the notion of freedom of thematic choice and very open to any kind of Art form. Currently focusing on painting, sculpture and installation as his main area of work, he is influenced by Yoshitomo Nara and Andy Warhol to name the few.
